his
book was published in 1979 as a manual for World Ju Jitsu Federation (WJJF).
WJJF was originally founded by soke James
Blundell. At the time of this book Richard
Morris was still with WJJF. As we all know
the person in charge was, and is, none other
than Robert "Bob"
Clark.
|
In
well-known fashion
Clark shows the various techniques within
the syllabus dressed in traditional
hakama
(a special form of vide "pants").
Richard Morris has later been heard to oppose
this, as it harder to see the details in
a given position, stance etc. I totally
agree with this point. But hey, it
looks nice! And Robert Clark has been known
for his, let us say, somewhat "flashy"
style. You will also see R. Morris showing
some weapon kata and applications.
|
The
book/manual presents the whole WJJF syllabus
from beginner level and up to nidan,
black belt (including shodan
- 1. dan).
|
The
manual is without a doubt well worth hunting
down. At times I have seen in sold on
e-bay (www.ebay.com),
so it is absolutely possible to get hold
of it. Also, remember do a search on: Abebooks! This
is a
gigantic network of small and independent booksellers
from all over the globe.
